This club is about enjoying, driving and showing off our cars. Members’ autos range from pampered show cars to vehicles that are driven cross country. Some cars have won numerous trophies, others are projects in the works, most are somewhere in between.
From afternoon picnics to out of town trips, the club offers a variety of tours and outings each year. We are an active group with family things to do. Meetings are held in different locations throughout the Atlanta metro area each month.
We are a helpful group, willing to share our knowledge and experience with others. The main objective of the club is the preservation, restoration, and utilization of Ford Motor vehicles that made use of the Ford Flathead V-8 engines manufactured from 1932 to 1953. Owning a Flathead Ford V-8 is not a requirement for membership. If you have an interest in old Fords and a desire to have some fun, you will feel welcome here.
Georgia RG #24 is affiliated with the national Early Ford V-8 club of America, One of the most highly regarded antique auto clubs in the country. The national organization offers regional conventions, an outstanding magazine, and a wealth of technical information about restoration and maintenance.
The Early Ford V-8 Foundation is building a museum in Auburn, Indiana that is dedicated to keeping the Flathead Fords alive.
